A law graduate from Campus Law Center, University of Delhi, Mr. Apurv Chandola has been practicing in various courts in New Delhi and other states in India since 2011 with a primary focus including but not limited to criminal and civil litigation. With a unique background in Science and Law, Mr. Chandola has also developed a keen interest in handling Intellectual Property Laws on the issues of IP Enforcement and other related areas.
Mr Chandola is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) and has been handling cases with a result oriented approach, both professionally and ethically and has acquired substantial years of professional experience in providing legal consultancy and advisory services
Major Areas of Work:
Legal services in Dispute Resolution issues pertaining to criminal laws especially white collar, Intellectual Property issues (Patent, Trademark and Copyright filing and prosecution), civil laws, family law, matrimonial related matters, consumer cases, public interest litigation, juvenile laws, medical negligence matters, service matters and drafting and vetting of various agreements and documents.
Pro Bono Work
- Representing clients in criminal cases who are unable to seek proper representation on a pro-bono basis. Has been fighting a case criminal case on behalf of a juvenile victim who was tortured by police authorities and was found hanging in his home the next day
- Has represented various under trial prisoners through Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee (DHCLSC) in Delhi High Court during professional experience with a Senior Counsel.
- Has filed a public interest litigation for saving the cause of Tibetean Antelope ‘Chiru’ for Nutan Sankalp Foundation in Delhi High Court highlighting consequences of legislative policy in Wildlife Protection.
